Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to support the administration and day-to-day management of employee benefits programs. This role will oversee benefit enrollments, vendor coordination, employee support, compliance activities, and wellness initiatives while ensuring a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused with strong knowledge of medical and insurance benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and wellness plans
  • Coordinate open enrollment, benefit renewals, and ongoing employee benefit changes
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution
  • Partner with insurance carriers, brokers, and vendors to ensure smooth program administration
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records and HRIS data
  • Prepare and distribute benefits communications, educational materials, and required notices
  • Conduct audits and analyze benefits data to ensure accuracy and identify trends or cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits
  • Support health and wellness initiatives and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to benefits administration
  • Assist with additional HR and benefits-related projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration
  • Strong knowledge of health and insurance benefit programs
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
